We Talkin' About PRACTICE (0-2) cut the lead to nine with 3 minutes left in the game, but Super Hyphy Juice held on to win 68-51 in a Week 3 game.

Down by 19 at the half, PRACTICE moved to a rotating point guard offense and outscored SHJ in the second half. However, the first-half deficit proved to be insurmountable, despite a barrage of three pointers by PRACTICE.

PRACTICE looks for their first win this Wednesday versus Indignation (2-1).

PRACTICE, up by 9, falls to Dexter's Lab, 37-36

We Talkin' About PRACTICE had a 9 point lead deep into the second half before losing 37-36 to Dexter's Lab on April 11. Dexter's Lab was awarded 4 free points for two jersey infractions on PRACTICE's squad.

“We Talkin’ About PRACTICE” takes on MS Hoops tonight in what many Sunnyvale Rec League analysts are calling a must-win game.

“If we lose tonight, the season is pretty much over,” says SG Brian. He is echoing sentiments that many PRACTICE players have expressed throughout the week.

PG Andrew gave the team a pep talk the night before the game: “I will literally cut off my arms and legs if we don’t win. No pressure though.”

PRACTICE is 0-0 going into tonight’s game against the 0-1 MS Hoops squad. Many pundits have noted that losing tonight’s game would put PRACTICE on a pace for an 0-10 season, while a win could foreshadow an undefeated season capped by a championship and possibly a role in next season’s And1 tour for one of the team’s centers, Rohan.

But a few members of the team are not sold on tonight’s game being a do-or-die situation. “We hope to win tonight,” says point-forward Kevin, “but if we don’t, we still have 9 games to go. Let go out there and play hard and enjoy ourselves.”

“What an idiot. He’s obviously never played basketball before,” Andrew responded.

Kevin is a dentist.
